WARRANTY POLICY — OAP ELECTRIC & GADGETS LTD

At OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd, we are committed to supplying quality electrical materials, lighting products, gadgets, and related equipment. Our warranty policy is designed to give our customers confidence in the quality and reliability of products purchased from our online store.
1. Warranty Coverage
Eligible products purchased from OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd are covered against manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal and proper use during the applicable warranty period stated on the product, packaging, invoice, or product listing.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is valid from the date of purchase.
2. What the Warranty Covers
Where applicable, the warranty may cover:
- Manufacturing defects.
- Component failure caused by defective materials or workmanship.
- Functional defects that occur during normal intended use.
- Replacement or repair of an eligible defective product, subject to assessment.
Where a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect, OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace it with the same or an equivalent product, or provide another appropriate resolution.
3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
- Incorrect installation, wiring, or connection.
- Improper use, negligence, abuse, or misuse.
- Physical damage, impact, breakage, burns, or water/liquid damage.
- Power surges, voltage fluctuations, lightning, fire, or other electrical faults beyond the product's specified operating conditions.
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, alterations, or tampering.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Consumable components or parts designed to wear out through normal use.
- Damage caused by unsuitable accessories, incompatible equipment, or incorrect installation.
- Products used outside their intended purpose or operating specifications.
- Damage occurring during transportation after delivery has been completed, where the customer or a third-party courier arranged the transportation.
4. Warranty Period
The warranty period varies according to the product and manufacturer. Customers should refer to the applicable product listing, invoice, warranty card, or manufacturer warranty supplied with the product.
Where no specific warranty period is stated, the product may be subject to the manufacturer's standard warranty terms, where applicable.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, the customer should contact OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd and provide:
1. Order number, invoice, or proof of purchase.
2. Product name and description of the fault.
3. Clear photographs or videos showing the problem, where applicable.
4. Any relevant warranty card or serial number.
5. Additional information reasonably required to assess the claim.
Customers may be required to return the product to us for inspection before a warranty claim is approved.
6. Inspection and Assessment
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification. A product will not automatically qualify for replacement or repair simply because it develops a fault.
If inspection determines that the fault resulted from a manufacturing defect covered by the warranty, the appropriate warranty remedy will be provided.
If the fault is determined to have resulted from misuse, improper installation, physical damage, electrical problems, unauthorized modification, or any other excluded cause, the warranty claim may be declined.
7. Warranty Returns and Delivery Costs
Where a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect covered by the warranty, OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd will provide reasonable guidance regarding the return or inspection process.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by us, transportation or delivery costs associated with warranty claims may be the responsibility of the customer.
8. Replacement Products
Replacement is subject to product availability. Where the original product is unavailable, OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd may provide an equivalent product or another appropriate resolution, subject to the circumstances of the claim.
A replacement product does not necessarily restart the original warranty period unless otherwise stated.
9. Third-Party and Manufacturer Warranties
Some products are covered directly by the manufacturer's warranty. In such cases, customers may be required to follow the manufacturer's warranty procedures.
We will, where reasonably possible, assist customers with the appropriate warranty process.
10. Installation Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that electrical products are installed by a suitably qualified professional where professional installation is required.
Warranty coverage may be affected where a product has been incorrectly installed, connected to an unsuitable power supply, or operated outside its manufacturer's specifications.
11. Proof of Purchase
A valid invoice, receipt, order confirmation, or other acceptable proof of purchase may be required before a warranty claim can be processed.
Warranty coverage cannot normally be transferred to another person unless expressly agreed by OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd or the applicable manufacturer.
12. Limitation of Warranty
This warranty applies only to defects covered under the applicable warranty terms. It does not guarantee that a product will operate indefinitely or remain free from normal wear and tear.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
13. Policy Updates
OAP Electric & Gadgets Ltd reserves the right to update or amend this Warranty Policy when necessary. Any changes will be reflected on our online store.
By purchasing from our online store, customers acknowledge that they have read and understood the applicable warranty terms for their product.
